J$250m First Ja share sale

An undisclosed party connected to First Jamaica Investment Limited has acquired 6.86 million of the company's shares, amounting to 2.26 per cent of the equity.
The trade on July 23 was valued at J$250.43 million, or J$36.50 per share, a 50-cent saving on the previous day's closing price of J$37.
First Jamaica Investment is controlled by the Facey family through Pan-Jamaican Investment Trust Limited.
