According to Reuters on Monday, November 8, 2010, the head of the World Bank stated that: "The world's largest economies should consider gold as an indicator to help set foreign exchange rates."

They are calling for a new monetary system to replace the current floating rates system of 1971.

The price of gold has risen to a record US$1,410 per ounce. Any economist will tell you that when the price of gold is increasing, it is an indication that a recession is pending. So it follows that if the price of gold is now setting records, then a major recession is also imminent.

Biblical economy teaches us in Genesis 47: 15 that the value of money is gone so there is going to be a shortage of money. So the money has failed! Watch out now for shortage of food, food price hikes, famine, hunger and so on.

The questions now become: 'Is there someone or some group that is collecting and hoarding all the wealth so that they will be in a dominant position when the recession hits?' (Genesis 47: 14) 'Are we seeing an end of the Babylonian system and the beginning of a new system?' (Revelation 18: 14 - 17) 'Are we seeing Revelation 13: 17 come to pass regarding the Antichrist and the economy?'

'Is it biblical prophecy being fulfilled about the One World currency?' You be the judge!

Disobedient leaders

Based on what is now happening, it is going to be very interesting to see what will happen concerning administrations between now and the next five years. The men who are supposed to lead are disobedient. Most of the economists who are men have been taught through the various high-ranking universities and are operating various national economies according to the textbooks, which were written in a time that did not have the existing elements. The economic problems that exist today were non-existent then and were not anticipated. They had no projections to include global warming and other cosmic disturbances that directly affect world economies. They did not forecast to include the current wars, times and seasons and the change of the world's tastes in various areas in the equation. Are we about to see the rise of female leaders in numerous nations across the globe? How will men and the Church respond to this possibility becoming a reality? (Isaiah 3: 12)

Principles

One of the principles of God is to bring success to businesses and nations. It was never man's intellect. Any other principle will be uprooted. (Matthew 15: 13; Deuteronomy 8: 18; I Corinthians 2: 12) The reason there are so many problems in attempts to find solutions is because mankind has shifted from the original plan through disobedience and has now found itself in one of three categories among which there is no cohesion.

The natural man - unregenerate and devoid of the Holy Spirit. They have no appreciation for Godly things; to them it is foolishness. (I Corinthians 2: 14)

The carnal man - regenerate, but living much like an unregenerate. They think that darkness is more powerful than light.

The spiritual man - regenerate and possess spiritual maturity. They discern the times and seasons and understand that everything that happens in the natural carries a spiritual significance.

In Luke 5, there were a few fishermen who were struggling in their business; everything was going wrong. But then, Jesus asked them to allow Him to use their resources as a platform and a pulpit. Because of their obedience, He gave them the necessary revelation on how to proceed which transformed their business totally! They even had to call for help from their business partners and even competitors to help them to receive the abundance!

In order to come out of debt, many businesses and nations are trying various methods, but the first method is repentance. Then pour into as many empty vessels as you can. Help the people first and pour into them. Then when you have emptied into those vessels God will pour out an overflow into yours! (II Kings 4: 1-7; Joel 2)
