Christopher Denny, moves to Port-of-Spain.

Closing a near three-year stint with the Jamaican operation of FirstCaribbean International Bank, Christopher Denny has taken up a new position in Port-of-Spain as a new recruit of the Citibank team.

Denny's job as vice-president, global transaction services at Citibank Trinidad and Tobago Limited (Citi Trinidad), began January 4, according to a release from Denny through a publicist.

Denny was FirstCaribbean's director of retail banking, wealth and small business at departure. He joined that bank at the top of 2008 to work with Milton Brady, its managing director at the time who has since taken up a larger role in the FirstCaribbean operation and now operates from Barbados.

Both men had worked previously with National Commercial Bank.

Denny's switch to Citi comes months into the change of leadership at FirstCaribbean Jamaica, where Nigel Holness was promoted from within to fill the vacancy left by retired Clovis Metcalfe.
