Time for sacrifice
'There is no quick fix to turning around a nation's economy'
Steve Lyston, Contributor
All eyes are watching the happenings taking place in the Middle East, particularly in Egypt! Egypt, Ethiopia and Libya are critical in the end time in the area of economic dominion.
There are mysteries to be unlocked and wealth to be revealed - gold, silver and the secrets of the ancient pyramids. Daniel 11: 43 reveals to us that regardless of the systems in place, there are precious resources in these countries that whoever controls those resources will have economic dominion and unlock the secrets to the wealth.
If Biblical prophecies are being fulfilled, then the all eyes should be on Japan, Russia and China who it is said will join together. They will have a tri-lateral agreement to balance economic power.
Here are some serious questions to ask:
Is biblical prophecy being fulfilled regarding economic dominion or is there an undermining force behind the scene fighting for the wealth?
Is it that the era of oppressive force - the pharaoh-style leadership - is coming to an end beginning with Egypt? Exodus 3:19-21.
If that is the case, are we about to see a great wealth transfer to the poor? Are we about to see gold and silver change hands?
Will financial institutions now be begging persons to take loans and write off debts?
Will we now be getting favour from the oppressive rulers?
Or, will we see natural disasters interrupt and delay the plans of subversive elements?
This opens the door for other questions. Daniel 12:4 reminds us that knowledge will increase. So, will we see even greater breakthroughs in technology and science?
Will there be an increase in global migration in order to seek economic solutions and business opportunities?
Politicians, businessmen and the people of the nations must work together to turn around their countries and be loyal to their own brand and believe in their people.
Everyone in a nation must support the local businesses, and the local businesses must give back to the communities! If we don't function this way and look for quick fixes, it is going to open the door for deception. At the same time, we have to be careful, because there is also the possibility of changing from one pharaoh to a more oppressive pharaoh.
There will be many seeking a better life and prosperity but it must be done through the wisdom of God. There is no quick fix to turning around a nation's economy. Quick fixes only bring deception!
The time has come for all parties within a nation to make sacrifices to turn around things. There needs to be compassion and integrity, and all decisions being made must genuinely take the poor and the family into consideration. (Nehemiah 5)
Signs Of Economic Deception
Look out for people who will come with great economic plans to turn the nation but are really after our resources and our businesses, not to help us. Your businesses may be struggling, but you have gold and a great deal of potential!
Watch for people who will give great gifts and promise great political power. If they undermine their leaders (whether those in power or the opposition) they approach you telling you that you are the next party leader, chief executive officer or head of the organisation - beware! Any promotion that you receive that is not of God's will come down!
Remember, beliefs play a significant role in decision making. Everybody makes their core decisions based on what or who they believe and trust!
Every decision that a person makes must have long term benefits, short term gain brings pain!
When making decisions, you must make them taking into consideration the effect on you and your family, and also how that decision will affect others when you are no longer in authority. Remember, every law implemented and every business decision made must be done with betterment of the people at heart. Never implement anything that will be used against you later.
