Club Kingston, a new business-class lounge at the Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA) in Kingston, has been slated to open within weeks, offering state-of-the-art services and amenities to passengers from all airlines, including Caribbean Airlines Ltd (CAL) and Air Jamaica.

In a release yesterday, CAL and Air Jamaica also noted that effective today, the existing business-class lounge for their NMIA passengers will be closed.

"A new temporary facility will be available for approximately eight weeks to accommodate business-class travellers, Club Caribbean members, Chairman's Club members and other eligible passengers," the release stated.

"The temporary lounge is to be located behind the check-in counters with the entrance on the right, just before security clearance."

Passengers using the lounge are to be accommodated with the usual hospitality, with access to wireless Internet, cable TV, as well as snacks and beverages. Guests will be escorted to the departure gate for boarding.
