Former National Security Minister, K.D. Knight yesterday butted heads with the current holder of that portfolio, Dwight Nelson, over the latter's knowledge of ousted Tivoli Gardens 'don' Christopher 'Dudus' Coke.

In response to Nelson's claim that he has never met Coke, Knight put on a show of disbelief.

"You do not know Dudus?" Knight asked, feigning shock.

"I know of Mr Coke ... that he frequents Tivoli Gardens, but I have never met him," declared Nelson in response to a question from Knight.

Asked if he was not aware that Coke was the leader of a gang called the Shower Posse that acted out of Tivoli Gardens, Nelson responded, "Is it a gang?"

Nelson had earlier said he had initiated security preparations after the Government received an extradition request for Coke on the basis of intelligence supplied to him by the police.

But Knight was not satisfied with the response and continued to press for information on Nelson's knowledge of Coke.

However, Nelson refused to budge, saying he would not divulge information gathered by the security forces.

Asked a range of questions about Coke, Nelson refused to answer, saying he would not divulge matters gleaned from intelligence.
