Decision delayed, Buju's verdict expected next week

JAMAICAN REGGAE singer Mark 'Buju Banton' Myrie will have to wait until next week to know his fate in his drug and cocaine trial in the United States.

At 9:40 a.m. yesterday, the 12-member jury retired to consider a verdict.

However, at the close of court at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, there was still no decision.

This means that the jury will have to continue its deliberation on Tuesday, since Monday will be President's Day - a national holiday in the United States.
