Payless ShoeSource, the retailer on a mission to democratise fashion, design and the latest ideas in footwear and accessories around the world for all to enjoy, recently expanded its operations in the Caribbean with its entry into Jamaica. With plans to open stores nationwide, three stores - in the Boulevard Supercentre in St Andrew Springs Plaza in St Andrew, and Fairview Shopping Centre in Montego Bay.

The official launch of Payless ShoeSource in Jamaica was held on Thursday, February 17 at the Boulevard Supercentre store.

Present at the launch were a number of Payless representatives, the minister of state for industry, investment and commerce, councillor for the Hughenden division, representatives from the Pembroke Hall community and diverse entities of corporate Jamaica. Master of ceremonies for the launch was Paula Ann Porter-Jones, who was accessoried by Payless ShoeSource.

At the launch, Steve Gish, executive vice-president at Payless, said, "Payless is excited to bring all that Payless has to offer - great fashion, great brands, great prices, a great shopping experience and superior customer service - to the people of Jamaica. We are thrilled to become an integral part of the community and we look forward to exceeding the expectations of the Jamaican shoppers."
