"I NEVER saw him once without a smile," a parent said.
"He was so well behaved, he never gave a bit of trouble," a teacher recounted.
Teachers and parents gathered in groups around the compound of Sts Peter and Paul Preparatory School, St Andrew, yesterday, trying to make sense of the unfortunate event that took the life of one of their own who had been with them since he was a baby.
Nine-year-old Jeremiah Yson Jr was killed Thursday afternoon when a goalpost on the school's playing field fell on him.
Yesterday morning, Jeremiah's Filipino parents, Jeremiah and Joy, along with family members and friends, joined the Sts Peter and Paul family at the chapel for a tearful, emotional, and inspirational mass.
Later, guidance education officer Mavis Fuller and a team of counsellors from the Ministry of Education did one-on-one sessions in various classes.
