Bruce livid!
PRIME MINISTER Bruce Golding told the Manatt-Dudus commission of enquiry yesterday that he was livid when Harold Brady told him that United States law firm Manatt, Phelps & Phillips preferred to represent the Government of Jamaica over the Jamaica Labour Party.
"I became livid when he (Brady) told me that they (Manatt) wanted to represent the Government," declared Golding in his opening comments at the Manatt-Dudus commission of enquiry.
"I said 'No, no, no, no! Lock it down!" asserted Golding.
The prime minister was anything but livid this morning as he entered the conference room.
The veteran politician could have been on the hustings as he smiled and shook hands with all and sundry, including the team of People's National Party lawyers who sat waiting with anticipation - except for his old political rival K.D. Knight, who had not yet entered the room.
