Operators urged to renew road licences
Beginning April 1, the Transport Authority will be cracking down on the operators of public passenger and commercial vehicles whose licences have expired.
The operators are being urged to renew their road licences now and avoid prosecution.
Road licences for public passenger and commercial carriers will expire on March 31.
The Transport Authority is warning that it is illegal to operate a vehicle as a public passenger or commercial carrier without the requisite licence.
The authority started accepting applications from as early as January 17 to allow operators enough time to apply.
