The Gleaner took to the streets to get the views of Jamaicans on how their schools would perform in the National Boys and Girls' Athletics Championships.

Sherieta Lewis, 23, Immaculate Conception

My school will come in the top 10. I am just hoping for the best for it.

Craig Harley, 24, Camperdown High

I think Wolmer's Boys will win, but I think Camperdown will only do well in the relay. Nonetheless, I am cheering for my school to the end.

Donald Mitchell, 26, St Andrew Technical

I don't think my school will come through, so while I am still cheering for them, I am really bringing Kingston College. My school is better at other sports, and so I am not too optimistic about its performance.

Christopher Hare, 33, Kingston College

Having won the Schools' Challenge Quiz, we are going for the athletics, so we have no doubt that we are going to win Champs this year by a wide margin. I know we are great in sports.
