Nesbeth recaptured: Dog Paw's lieutenant back in custody
THE POLICE yesterday recaptured Nicholas Nesbeth, an alleged key member of the Dog Paw criminal gang.
Nesbeth, who was allegedly mistakenly released from police custody almost three months ago, was reportedly held yesterday in Craig Town, Kingston.
He was captured along with two other men, one of whom the police claim is wanted for a number of murders in the Kingston Western Division. The other man held by the police is Ricardo Jones, the brother of Christopher Linton.
Better known as 'Fire Key', Nesbeth was first held on January 26, a day after the arrest of gangster Christopher 'Dog Paw' Linton.
At that time, police sources described him as the bookkeeper and financial brains of the gang whose extortion business netted millions of dollars each year.
An intensive investigation was launched by Police Commissioner Owen Ellington.
