Business development conference on this week
IN AN effort to provide practical and theoretical solutions for business development, Mint Management and Finance Services is to host 'Katalyxt' conference 2011.
According to the organisers, 'Katalyxt' plays on the idea of a catalyst, which stimulates reactions to increase the likelihood of success.
It is geared towards harnessing and managing resources for existing small- and medium-sized businesses, as well as stimulating growth through the use of technology, and innovation for larger businesses. The Jamaica Manufacturers' Association Limited's president, Omar Azan, agrees that "business prosperity is important for the socio-economic well-being of the country and Katalyxt 2011 is one of the initiatives to support driving this process."
Participants in Katalyxt's business development conference, which is to be held on May 26 and 27 at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel, New Kingston, include international and local business leaders, and experienced entrepreneurs.
Over the two days, participants will be challenged to improve products and services offered. The keynote speaker Jay Brenan specialises in revitalising businesses.
