Bog Walk gorge closure announced

THE NATIONAL Works Agency (NWA) has moved to set the record straight about when the Bog Walk gorge in St Catherine will be closed.
With conflicting reports circulating, the NWA yesterday declared that the roadway will be closed on Monday, June 6, 2011, and not June 1, as reported.
The corridor will be closed for one month in order to allow for the completion of pipe-laying works by the National Water Commission.
According to the NWA, in order to facilitate the closure of the roadway it has been effecting repairs to the alternative route through Barry.
