Dunn's River Falls to be improved

A PARLIAMENTARY committee has approved an order which could see the Urban Development Corporation (UDC) transforming a section of St Ann, which includes the Dunn's River falls.

At the same time, the committee has issued strict instructions that the environment be protected from depletion.

The Senate's Regulations Committee had considered the Urban Development Corporation (Belmont, Roaring River, and Malvern Park) (Designation) Order, 2011, under the UDC Act.

The report of the committee was adopted by the Senate.
