Bowen elected new Bankers Association head

Bruce Bowen, president and chief executive officer of the Bank of Nova Scotia, has been unanimously elected president of the Jamaica Bankers Association (JBA).
The election took place yesterday at the JBA's annual general meeting.
In accepting his election to the association's top leadership position, Bowen said the JBA would continue to play a vital role and work closely with the Government to strengthen the economy and build a vibrant financial industry.
