Shaw holds high-level talks in China

FINANCE MINISTER Audley Shaw is expected to arrive in China tomorrow to meet with his Chinese counterpart, Xie Xuren and vice-minister of commerce, Wang Chao.
Shaw, who left the island yesterday, will hold talks with Chinese officials on the continuing economic cooperation between China and Jamaica as well as other areas of mutual cooperation.
The Export-Import Bank of China is financing the five-year Jamaica Development Infrastructure Programme - the largest road and works programme ever undertaken in Jamaica.
Shaw returns to the island on June 26.
