Chong takes over distribution
Annie Chong, regional sales manager at Honey Bun (1982) Limited, has been given temporary responsibility for sales and distribution, following the departure of Distribution Manager Brent Sexton, who resigned effective July 31, the company said in a market filing.
New overseers of JCAA, Road Fund
Cabinet has approved an 11-member board for the Road Maintenance Fund, and nine directors for the Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority board.
The members will serve for three years with effect from July 11, 2011.
Developer Y.P. Seaton has been named chairman of the JCAA. He will preside over a board that comprises directors Robert Evans, Keith Smith, E. George Hosang, Captain Andrew Bogle, Leroy Lindsay, Jackson Chang, Dr Janine Dawkins, and ex-officio member, Lt Col Oscar Derby, who is the director general of the regulatory body.
Peter Jervis has been appointed chairmain of the Road Maintenance Fund, alongside directors Merlene Daley, Garth Martin, David Shirley, Ian Levy, Troy Caine and Audley Gordon; and ex-officio members Barrington Mills, Patrick Wong, Alston Esmie and an unnamed representative of the Ministry of Finance.
