Nuclear power at Pedro Banks

The Editor, Sir:

I have always thought that our bauxite could fetch a higher price, if more of it was converted to the end product, aluminium.

Why not use tax policy to entice our business leaders to invest in nuclear power; yes, there are lots of concerns.

However, the benefits outweigh the disadvantages.

Why not research all areas of concern and build such a facility out on the Pedro Banks. I believe it can be done.

Transparency, know-how and safety are key to a better deal and a better outlook for Jamaica.

It cannot be after this infinite resource is gone we have nothing to show. It's really sad!

The journey of a thousand mile starts with one step forward. I think our leaders need a wake-up call on this.
