The combination of raw power and luxury of the Audi A7 and A8 were in sync with the theme 'Unleashing Innovations', adopted by the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MBCCI) for its Expo 2011.
In collaboration with ATL Autohaus, the leaders for the Second City's business community held their first in a series of pre-expo cocktail receptions at the automobile company's Bogue City Centre showrooms, on Wednesday night.
Promising that from October 14-16, the new Montego Bay Convention Centre in Rose Hall would come alive as exhibitors from sectors such as hospitality, banking and finance, services, agriculture, education, manufacturing and ICT unleash their creative and innovative products, Expo 2011 chairman, Gloria Henry said, "The MBCCI wants to use this trade fair to inspire and encourage organisations to adopt innovation into every area of their business whether you make a product or sell what someone else makes."
Henry said that the MBCCI recognised that its members were competing in a global market place, where products and services were easily duplicated by the competition, "Innovation means to do something new - groundbreaking, mind-boggling, better and different from the competition. This is the reason we took you here today, to give you a taste of what we are encouraging at this year's trade fair."
President of the Chamber of Commerce, Davon Crump, promised to be innovative in the execution of this trade fair.
