The future is bright

Many people are going through rough times facing financial problems, sickness, job loss, economic strife and hopelessness.

Even some men and women of faith are giving up because, to them, it seems there is no future.

Remember, however, that what you are going through is only for a season.

Everything changes except God and his principles. Time changes, seasons change, friends change, people change, regimes change and laws change.

Your present circumstances do not determine or dictate your future - regardless of what you are going through.

The instructions you follow and the choices you make can change your circumstances in an instant!

Who your mentors are, and those you listen to, can help you to walk into a bright future.

The word 'future' means "a time to come; what is to happen; prospects yet to come or be, or have not yet taken place".

The future is always greater than the past. You cannot change the past, but you can change the future.

Remember this, your future is not in past things, your future is yet to come.

The positive words that we speak can create a positive future. The things of the past are already done. What say you of the future?

Politicians are guilty of this, continually pointing out failures of others and declaring it over the future of the country if their opponents should rise to power.

As a result, they create a cycle of spoken failures just waiting to manifest in the future.

Isaiah 42:9 "Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them."

Let the past go

We all need to stop dwelling on the past, and stop trying to bring past things into the future.

Anytime you find that those in positions of power or leadership are bringing up and dwelling on the past failures of others, particularly their competitors or opposition, it means that these people have no good or clear plans for the future.

Despite all that, Jeremiah 29:11-14 reassures us that God has a plan for peace, prosperity, deliverance and healing. He promises to answer prayer.

What is past, present and future to us is already past for God.

He is the omniscient God and according to His word, He is "the beginning and the end". That means God already knows the end.

Many have already lost hope in the political and financial systems, globally.

There is a refusal to change while the poor continues to suffer and die under the oppression. But do not worry, the future is bright.

In due time, God will raise up leaders who will not walk the path of their forefathers; leaders who will have a new vision, a new platform, new ideas and who will not be afraid to bow their knee and submit to God's instructions. (I Samuel 17: 38 - 39)

Remember that the obstacles and hindrances you encounter are a preparation for the future.

Sometimes people are shifted from you - whether for a season or a lifetime - so that you can embrace the bright future that is ahead of you.

The next 15 months are going to be very interesting,

Keys For A Bright Future

Obedience -It brings change, promotion, blessing and increase.

Plan - Make a list of the things you desire to have for the future such as debt write-off, debt-free home, debt-free business, speak it every day and watch it come to pass.

Willingness to change - Your location can also determine your future; God has a desired and specific place where He chooses to bless you. (Genesis 12: 1, Genesis 22, Deuteronomy 12, I Kings 17)
