Little Bryanna Campbell clutched her doll tightly to her chest. A perplexed look told the story of her dilemma. The two-year-old had no intention of letting go of her prized possession, but she also wanted to join her gleeful friends in the bounceabout.

Mom Nadine Brock came to her rescue, securing Bryanna's precious cargo while she eagerly climbed into the bounceabout, jumping up and down with all the energy she could muster.

Thursday was a full day of excitement for Bryanna and the children of First Missionary Church Basic School in Kingston, as they enjoyed the wonderful gifts and treats the team from Scotiabank brought to brighten their day.

A few streets away, at Highholborn Street Basic School, five-year-olds Gianna Lewis, Vennisa Bryan and friends were also bursting with excitement as 'Clownie' tickled their funny bones and painted their faces, while the Scotiabank team handed them gifts.

"This is nice," declared Gianna. "I'm going to have fun today."

"Fine, thank you!" shouted Vennisa when asked how she was enjoying the day.

It was the same story of overwhelming joy for the children of All Saints Basic School in Kingston.

Thursday was their day to enjoy the delights that come with the Christmas season. Toys, back-to-school items, clowns, bounce-about, cotton candy, popcorn, cake, ice cream, balloons, face-painting and music were all part of the excitement Scotiabank brought, as the 300 children at the three schools absorbed it all.

The teachers and principals were not to be left out as 'Santa Scotia' brought gifts for them too.

All decked out in red, the Scotiabank team of Valerie Omess, branch manager, King Street; Andrea Douglas, operations manager; and Sheldon Stewart, assistant manager, along with Kimone Brown, Opal McKenzie, Nadine DaCosta, Audrey Betton, Ramone Walsh, Fabian McIntyre and Wishabi Whitley, were just as thrilled as the children were.

Getting hugs, kisses and bombarded with questions from the happy tots, the banking team was full of laughter.
