It's not often you have this much fun on a weekday. Staff of CGM Gallagher Insurance Brokers gathered at the Terra Nova All-Suite hotel on Tuesday, for their Christmas staff luncheon and awards. It was a black and white affair, although guests made sure to throw in a few colours of the Yuletide season. CEO of CGM Matthew Pragnell lauded the staff for a job well done and thanked them for their diligence, strength and character. He admitted it was a tough year but expressed confidence that they would weather the storm.

Spot prizes, staff performances and some good Jamaican Christmas fare followed, but truly, it was all about the awards. Staff members were rewarded for service of between five and 15 years, and one retiree, Eberle 'Bobby' Dawes, was given a fine send-off after his years of service. Staff members were also lauded for their personal achievements and there were even awards for the CGM Gallagher Sports Personalities of the Year.

The awards doled out, it was time for some 'kick-your-heels-off' dancing. Hmm, all this on a Tuesday? Now that's our kind of company!
