Goodies for St Monica's Home

St Catherine Credit Union Sports Club (SCCU) recently donated toiletries, pots, non-alchoholic wines, food items and other goodies to the residents of St Monica's Home for the Aged along the Mandela Highway in St Catherine.
Members of the SCCU prayed, sang and danced with many of the 38 residents. Staff members and residents also entertained their guests with poems and songs.
Nurse Petal Toomer said thanks on behalf of the institution.
"It is very good that we are receiving these goodies. It has placed a smile on the faces of everyone, " Toomer said.
