Hamilton quits NCB Insurance
Ann Marie Hamilton has resigned as general manager of NCB Insurance Company after four years.
Parent company National Commercial Bank said Hamilton is leaving the group to pursue personal endeavors, effective April 18.
The banking group bank said a replacement has not yet been identified.
As head of NCB Insurance, Hamilton was charged with the mandate to strengthen profit and balance sheet performance of the company. NCB said the company has grown under her leadership.
Last year, the insurance subsidiary increased its contribution to group-operating profit by 20 per cent to J$2.4 billion. Operating profit has grown six-fold from J$400 million since 2008.
Hamilton has worked with the NCB group since 2002 prior, and was tapped to run NCB Insurance in 2008.
"Ann Marie has an extensive knowledge base of the insurance industry. She has served NCBIC commendably and played an integral role in the centralising of key administrative operations, such as human resources and information technology," said Dennis Cohen, deputy group managing director of NCB.
