Saint's night of stylish angels

It isn't the norm that one finds the majority of the turn-out dressed in an impressive, fashionable, non-overtly done manner, but this time, that was the case.

Playing on the term fashionably late - it seemed many took that term to the literal sense, arriving an hour after the set time. But they certainly made up for it in the fashion stakes.

One of the first to be there - and, I must add,
bang on time - was MP Lisa Hanna, who looked subtly stunning. Never one
to wear outlandish or over-the-top outfits, she manages to entwine
minimalistic pieces that, without fail, capture your attention. Wearing
Salvatore Ferragamo slate-grey sandals and an on-trend spring 2013
colour, burnt orange shift dress by a local designer, she looked
stunning.

Another dashing picture to note on the red carpet was
Dimitris Kosvogisnis, general manager of Grand Palladium Resort and Spa,
who wore a smart silver double-breasted suit and a crisp white shirt.
He partnered his suit with bags of enthusiasm and charm, and what a
wonderful conversationalist. Racing after him on the carpet was
assistant vice-president and head, Treasury & Trading at Scotia
Investments, Greg Samuels, proudly wearing a Karako suit and a Blair
Underwood shirt; not one to shy away from sharing what he was wearing
and, why so? He did the designers a fashionable justice and caught many a
lady's eye.

'Hattitude' Karl Brown, fashion headwear
designer and image consultant, could never let the fashion side down,
wearing a customised crimson red bow that he made from a tie, and
Washington spiky shoes. It's no wonder that many are looking forward to
Brown's out-of-the-norm line of neck pieces for summer
2013.

Jamaican rising fashion model, Jotasha Turnbull,
looked a supermodel, as though she was awaiting the runway. Wearing a
slate-grey, jersey train dress, that she proudly boasted, and a chunky
bracelet, both from the indisputable power fashion house, Roberto
Cavalli, she, of course, looked divine and an enthusiastic diamond with
which to converse. And who could miss designer Lisa McIntosh who looked
'hair-mazing', and her self-designed, figure-hugging, off-the-shoulder,
earthy-coloured dress was definitely eye-catching.

A
night of stylish celebration, presented by Saint International Modelling
Agency renowned business guru René Carayol, highlighting the
achievements of the company's up-and-coming models. The key message to
be taken away that night was the sense of family union and support
within the agency, which was rather poignant. A wonderful message that
was brought home, more so by the polished, articulate yet humble
spokesman for the night, Korey Rowe. He thanked the man of the moment,
CEO of Saint International, Deiwght Peters, who received his praise with
a courteous and demure attitude.

dapper tweed jacket by Spokes Apparel and Marc Jacobs trousers.
Delightfully spruced attire wouldn't be enough to describe his
outfit.

Suits were undoubtedly the flavour of choice
for the men - as the charming Damion Crawford wore Sean John tan shoes
paired with a tan shirt. Local fashion designer Dexter Pottinger wore a
Gucci suit, Zara shoes and a Ralph Lauren red
shirt.

It really was a dazzling night of oncoming
supermodels, investors and fashion enthusiasts. Nibbles and tasty
bubblies brought home a compassionate and stylish event, and a
competitive preparation to the global fashion industry of the
future.
