Since 2009, the Richard & Diana Stewart Foundation, a non-profit organisation, a part of the Stewart's Automotive Group, has been a supporter of rising star athlete, Jason Young. From the Foundation, Young has received assistance with his tuition, school supplies, as well as vitamins and dietary supplements.

The Stewarts continue to recognise Young's drive and, under the guidance of his manager Norman Peart, he has gained traction both on and off the track. Young is now the fourth fastest Jamaican at 19.86 seconds for the 200m, which he achieved at his European debut last year.

On Monday, he was presented with a 32" television set by the Stewarts inside their Suzuki showroom along South Camp Road, Kingston. The student/athlete hopes to open at the Jamaica Invitational in May followed by a few overseas meets, in preparation for the national trials leading up to the World Championship in Moscow, Russia this summer.
