Supreme Ventures opens gaming lounge in Montego Bay

Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) has widened its entertainment range in western Jamaica with the recent opening of Acropolis Gaming Lounge, which is located on the popular Hip Strip in downtown Montego Bay.

The lounge brings to seven the number of gaming outfits being operated by SVL and the fifth under the Acropolis brand. Acropolis Montego Bay occupies the space which was previously operated as the Coral Cliff Entertainment Centre.

"We are very pleased to have opened the Acropolis Gaming Lounge in Montego Bay, especially with the necessary upgrades to meet the expectations of our customers, while introducing various new games and themes," said Brian George, president and chief executive officer of SVL. "As we indicated earlier this year, the main focus will be on our core business, which is gaming. "

The renovated gaming lounge, which features a split-level dual-currency offering, is outfitted with 167 machines, including variations of slots, roulette, royal ascot, and blackjack. It is the second coinless facility operated by Supreme Ventures in Jamaica.

LOVELY LAYOUT

"As a gambling fan, who is patiently waiting on the full introduction of casino gaming in Jamaica, I am only too happy to see the Acropolis Gaming Lounge coming as the forerunner," said Montego Bay businesswoman Maxine Brown. "I rather like the layout and the variety of machines. It is lovely."

The main floor has gaming machines that accept Jamaican currency while the top level is equipped for United States currency. Customers can also purchase tickets for input to the machines.

The location will also sell lottery games through SVL's lottery terminal, as well as wager on international sporting events through JustBet.
