Thursday talk
Highway name
1. Not many are happy with the news that a section of the highway is being named in honour of a 'foreigner' with little or no known ties to the island.
CARICOM fuss
2. Some say the argument now going on in the PNPYO over the proposed Tivoli inquiry is nothing compared to the one going in on the PNP and the Government itself about our relationship with CARICOM. It is said that some in the Government believe that CARICOM does not benefit Jamaica.
It's coming!
3. Bets are being placed that whenever the announcement of a replacement is made, it will be to confirm the one who recently visited to the island. Observers say it has happened at least twice before!
Leadership mess
4.Some say the party is in a very bad way as it's sadly lacking in leadership and direction and there is no hope that the party might right itself anytime soon. And they say talk of anyone coming back to provide that leadership is just talk, as there is still an upcoming matter.
14 and the elder
5. Grandma goes into the phone of 14-year-old granddaughter and finds a slew of racy text messages and pictures of body parts from a male. On further investigations, she discovers they all came from an "elder". Now the congregation is split between the family and the leadership of the organisation who is naturally in denial.
Watch it!
6. Quote of the Week: "Let her continue talking and badmouthing others. Seems like she has never heard the story about those who live in 'glasshouse'. Her father has more skeletons in his 'closet' than the May Pen Cemetery."
