Jamaica Yellow Pages launches 'Click the Cover' competition

Jamaica Yellow Pages is running a competition for amateur and for professional photographers the chance to feature on the cover of the 2014 edition of the directory.

In a release, the company announced that the winning entry of 'Click the Cover' will be on the cover of the directory; and the winning photographer will receive $100,000 and a Nikon D3200 SLR camera.

Submissions should showcase iconic representations of Jamaica's rich culture, including scenery, objects, places, and of course, people.

Submissions are to be made on the Jamaica Yellow Pages Facebook page.

A panel of judges will select the winning photograph, while the People's Choice award of $10,000 will be awarded to the entry with the most votes on the Jamaica Yellow Pages Facebook page.

To participate, photographers should visit and 'Like' the Jamaica Yellow Pages Facebook page and look for the 'Click the Cover' tab, complete the registration form and upload original photographs.

The contest ends on May 31.
