Celebration Brands Limited (CBL), the chief distribution company in Jamaica, recently rolled out its distribution centre in Kingston at 214 Spanish Town Road. CBL is responsible for the sale and distribution of all Red Stripe/Diageo and Pepsi brands in Jamaica. Cedric Blair, chairman of the board of CBL and managing director at Red Stripe; along with Gustavo Flamenco, head of CBL, and Miguel Alameda, general man-ager of Pepsi Cola Jamaica, and other members of the Red Stripe and CBL executive teams, were present to wish the team well on the first day.

"Through our partnership in Celebration Brands, we hope to continue our commitment to strengthening the Jamaican economy while providing the best portfolio of brands to our consumers. We are creating history as the biggest distribution and sales company in Jamaica, to not only drive economies of scale, but to fuel economic growth for our companies, our people, and for Jamaica," said Blair.

CBL is a joint sales project and distribution company, formed by Red Stripe, a Diageo Company, and Pepsi Cola Jamaica (owned by Cabcorp), with an exceptional selection of prominent international brands, including Johnnie Walker, Red Stripe, Guinness, Smirnoff, J&B, Baileys, Tanqueray, Pepsi, Ocean Spray, Aqua Essential, and D&G sodas. Celebration Brands employs 700 Jamaicans, some coming from both companies, with an estimated 200 new jobs created under this structure.
