Special shrimp run-down
Almost a year since its grand opening, Fish Pot, through its enticing concept, has been reeling customers in. A first-time participant in the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week, Fish Pot is ready to treat existing customers with its discounted prices and to win over new ones.
Situated on Half-Way Tree Road, the restaurant is listed in the Nyam and Scram category. And according to head chef Evrol Ebanks, the specials featured during Restaurant Week will be wholesome.
"The dishes are nutritious, tasty and will give our customers value for money," he said.
His special on the Restaurant Week menu is the shrimp run-down, which he anticipates will do extremely well. The combo features shrimp run-down with vegetable rice and a drink.
"It has a nice Jamaican flavour and is very easy to prepare, which is good to meet the demands. It is also very nutritious, as all the food groups are covered."
With a kitchen team to work with, Ebanks said everyone is ready for Restaurant Week.
"The staff know and are prepared for the turnout. We will be doing behind-the-scenes prepping to ensure a smooth flow."
