The sky was indeed the limit at the recent exclusive launch of SKYY Vodka held at Villa Ronai on Tuesday night. Despite the light showers earlier in the evening, many turned out to witness the beginning of something uniquely historic for Jamaica's distillery industry, and specifically for J. Wray and Nephew who was officially launching the Vodka in Jamaica.

Both entities pulled out all the stops and the beautiful villa was converted into a hub to welcome specially invited guests upon entry.

Guests made their way through the plush greenery before reaching the SKYY Vodka photo booth, where they could get their 'Kiss the SKYY picture' taken. The tour continued with many indulging in SKYY Vodka mixes at the first of three bars that were kept busy.

Heading down a flight of stairs, it was hard not to be impressed by the seductive SKYY Vodka mistress poised in a super-sized martini glass.

With the refreshing air truly complementing the occasion, patrons had the option of either following the sweet aroma of the savoury delights that filled the air, or making their way to the all-white SKYY Vodka lounge.

The lounge which featured sophisticated yet snug sofas, revealed yet another bar, on the right. To the left, a flight of stairs led to where the heat was - on the dance floor.

The official launch proceedings were short and sweet. With formalities aside and photo ops out of the way, everyone resorted to their respective comfort zones and continued to enjoy their evening under the moon-lit sky.
