Satisfying every palate
The sound of gushing water in the background and the sway of the foliage complete the relaxing and serene atmosphere at Alhambra Inn.
Spacious dining area, lavish green lawn and pristine pond encapsulate the picturesque setting at the Tucker Avenue Gimbilyn Restaurant.
This is Alhambra Inn's fifth time participating in the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week. Over the years, it has been very successful. "This is our fifth year being a part of Restaurant Week. We return each year because it has always been good for us - as well as our happy customers," noted banquet manager Karen Levy.
This year's three-course meal includes a choice of soup or salad for appetiser, a choice of five entrées, and three dessert options. The menu has a variety to satisfy every palate - chicken, fish, shrimp, pork and beef.
Chef Christopher Graham presented Food with this little piggy - a must-try for pork lovers. "This little piggy is a potato and raisin-stuffed sweet pork loin. The pork is rolled and roasted in a seasoned roast crust and the pork is then served in a sorrel sauce."
With the option of dining inside or al fresco, under the stars, on the lawn or on the pool deck, Levy recommends that families and friends make it Alhambra Inn for this year's Restaurant Week.
