Grand Palladium staff rewarded

The Grand Palladium's bartender, Ricardo Streete, was the toast of the recently staged Monthly Staff Awards at the hotel.

Streete, who works in the 'Miss Lou Bar' at the Lucea-based hotel, copped the Front of House, Employee of the Month, the General Manager, the Smile and Courtesy, and the Point Personality awards for September.

Streete was lauded for his hard work, attention to detail, and excellent customer-service delivery to guests, which as a result, played a major part in him winning the four awards.

Other September winners were Monique Bernard, of the administrative office, who won the Heart of the House Employee of the month. Kimberlee Whyte of the front office took the Front of House Employee of the Month award.

Ricardo Johnson of the maintenance department won the Supervisor of the Month award, while Rushel 'Honey' Grant of the entertainment department copped the Most Consistent Employee of the Month award. Mariel Tempestti of the sales department also won the Most Improved Employee award.

Other winners for August were Denise Brown of the purchasing department, who took home the Heart of the House Employee of the Month Award and the front desk's Channa-Lee Brown, who copped the Supervisor of the Month award. The housekeeping department's Renita Clarke also copped the Smile and Courtesy award.

The list also included Telicia Roberts of the human resources department, who was voted the Most Consistent employee; Natalie Grant Atkinson, from the sales department, who won the Most Improved Team Member award; Gary Hemming of the maintenance department, who took home the Point Personality award; and Roy Lawrence of the bar department, who was the General Manager's awardee.
