Iwish for emancipation for our people, that will lead to relentless self-giving, integration and collaboration, continuous development of the most precious resource, the human capital and since our economy is, seemingly, subsumed by the global recession, we will need to become more focused on each other.

People integration, technology integration, social inclusion and protecting the environment are strategies to be deployed to achieve emancipation.

Jamaica's 10-year future should be reflective of the work being undertaken by Red Stripe. The company has embarked on a major transformation, under excruciating economic circumstances, that will bridge economics, environment and social inclusion - a recipe for true sustainability.

This future will see a nation that is supportive, constructively critical and collaborative, communities that can respond to change and not succumb to defeat; a people that can understand and evaluate, a people that demonstrate hope and trust, and relate to each other with respect, trust and integrity. Our local talent is the centre of our economy's growth.

Economic growth occurs through development and deployment of clear and concise policies; belief in self and others; belief and trust in this country and its people; capacity building and demonstrating confidence in our systems.

None of these should occur without continuous evaluation and monitoring, and providing the relevant feedback for continuous improvement.

We should understand all the requirements of our stakeholders, be a catalyst for others, be focused, engaged and emancipated. Let us be the best and proud of what we do.
