Skyy Vodka and Island Vibes, committed to reshaping the Caribbean entertainment landscape, have partnered to host Jamaicas first ever Electronic Soca Fete, GLOW on Saturday, April 26, at the Chinese Benevolent Association (CBA), on Old Hope Road.

The Gleaner Company has jumped on board with the Island Mas team to bring a fun-filled drink- inclusive vibes to soca lovers.

Unforgettable, epic, world class will define the Glow experience said Marlon Campbell, a director of Island Vibes.

The group promises to transform the CBA into a soca and electric dance music lovers paradise, focusing on production. The super line-up consists of ace disc jockeys Richie R.A.S, Bambino, DJ Sanjay and Nuphoric from Trinidad, an indication of the musical frenzy that will consume patrons.

The first-time event is already generating significant excitement and is shaping up to be one of the biggest new events of the carnival season.

At Island Vibes, innovation is key. We wanted to do something that combined Jamaican culture with the best of carnival in a high-energy atmosphere that would leave patrons completely mesmerised, said Andrew Bellamy, Island Vibes director.

Glow has a line-up of the hottest Caribbean artistes. Trinidads Blaxx will have patrons Fettin Away, whereas his countryman 5 Star Akil, performing in Jamaica for the first time, will bring out the Partier in everybody. Barbados born Lil Rick who is quickly becoming a Jamaican favourite, will appeal to all Monster Winers who will have to go Down to the Ground with Go Dung. The list of the Caribbeans finest is rounded off by one of Jamaicas most talented artistes and man of the moment, Konshens.

Scheduled to be held from 8 pm to 2 am, patrons are advised to come out early as Island Vibes wont be holding back any vibes!
