Cuddyz celebrates 10th anniversary
What do you get when you combine dining, sports, fun and a genuine passion for people? An establishment that sees people coming back time and time again for 10 years and counting.
Cuddyz Sports Bar and Restaurant celebrated a milestone of 10 years of successful business in the food industry by treating Jamaicans and visitors to a series of Sunday parties dubbed 'Cuddyz10: The Anniversary'. Patrons and prospective patrons will be invited to party with the Cuddyz crew from mid-July to mid-August. In August 2004, retired West Indies cricketer and Jamaican ambassador Courtney Walsh, OD, OJ, had a desire to operate his own food establishment because he wanted to give back to his fans something that they could enjoy outside of his playing cricket.
Eatery for all sports
The perfect idea was to open a restaurant which would cater for local and international guests with a sports theme not only for cricket, but a range of popular sports. That dream blossomed into an eatery, Cuddyz Sports Bar and Restaurant. "Cuddyz is named after Walsh, as his family and close friends call him 'Cuddy'," said the establishment's manager, Christilee Walsh. Located at the New Kingston Shopping Centre, the vibesy atmosphere, complemented by the sumptuous themed sports meals, has proven to be a hotspot for not just sports personalities and fans, but for anyone who wants to chill with friends or have a relaxed dining experience with their family.
As the establishment enters year 11, Christilee said patrons can look forward to a menu upgrade, one which is guaranteed to further tantalise the taste buds.
