Foreign Minister in Nassau

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Dr. Ken Baugh is to chair the 24th special meeting of the CARICOM Council for Trade and Economic Development in Nassau Bahamas today.



Minister of Industry and Commerce, Karl Samuda is also among the team attending the meeting.



The rising cost of living and a report on the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) between the European Union and CARIFORUM are to be examined at the meeting.



The meeting will also seek to finalise discussions on the recommendations for the reduction or removal of the Common External Tariff on commodities in the Consumer Price Index.
