JET face legal action

The Jamaica Environment Trust (JET) is facing legal action from a geologist who conducted an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) on a proposed dolphin attraction site in Hanover.

Legal Director for JET, Danielle Andrade said the suit is seeking to have the Trust remove the review from its website.

Dr. Ravidya Burrowes, the EIA consultant involved in the legal action said the move is in an effort to protect her professional reputation as a geologist and EIA consultant.

Dr. Burrowes also conducted an EIA on the controversial Burnt Ground Cemetery in Hanover.
