The tax case involving dancehall artiste Moses ‘Beenie Man’ Davis has been set for trail on April 29.
It is alleged that Beenie Man owes the Tax Department $47 million in taxes and penalties.
Beenie Man is claiming that it was the responsibility of his manager at Shocking Vibes to undertake such payments.
His lawyer Roderick Gordon told the court that he received affidavits from the tax department earlier this month. He said he needs more time to discuss the documents with his client.
The matrimonial case involving Beenie Man and his wife Michelle Downer is to be heard in chambers at the Supreme Court this afternoon.
