The police are still to locate the woman who reportedly went missing from her house in Stony Hill, St. Andrew on Monday.

Her common-law husband, who has been accused of killing her, is in police custody.

He was reportedly beaten by residents who believe that he killed the woman and hid her body.

Deputy Superintendent of Police, Carol McKenzie said the woman was accused of being unfaithful after returning from an outing.

He said residents informed him that the couple argued regularly, prior to the woman’s disappearance.

He said the case is being treated as a homicide.
