Road patching project underway

The National Works Agency (NWA) said it would be undertaking a major road-patching project within the Corporate Area.



The project, which is valued at $50 million, is to be completed within the next two months.



Communications and Customer Services Manager at the NWA, Stephen Shaw said the focus would be on roadways that have been affected by potholes recently.



Mr. Shaw said several roadways in Downtown Kingston would also be included in the patching exercise.



These include East and West Queen Streets, Harbour, Orange, Church, King and Hanover Streets, Victoria Avenue and Ocean Boulevard.
