Journalist and businessman Garvin Davis was yesterday freed of fraud charges in the St. Ann’s Bay Resident Magistrates court.

Davis was arrested on April 17 after officers of the Organised Crime Investigation Unit raided his house in Ocho Rios, St. Ann and found a forged United States passport bearing his image.

However in court yesterday, the crown decided to drop all charges against Davis due to lack of evidence.

Davis, who was represented by Attorney-at-law Tom Tavares Finson, said he is relieved by the decision of the court.
