A man yesterday pleaded guilty to making a false allegation against a member of the Jamaica constabulary Force when he appeared in the St. Ann’s Bay Resident Magistrates Court.

The police said Akhnathon ‘Antonio Perez’ Nathaniel Hylton, was arrested by members of the Anti Corruption Branch on Reasonable Suspicion for creating Public Mischief and False Declaration in May.

Hylton is alleged to be a US Navy Seal of a San Diego California address.

According to the police, Hylton made a report that members of the St. Ann police assaulted and kidnapped him then demanded $58,000 as fine after finding him guilty in Court.

The investigation revealed that the allegation was fabricated by the accused.

The police said he formulated the same story in order to obtain money from a resident of St. Ann to pay his hotel bill.

The police also add that there is no record to suggest or substantiate that the accused travelled to the United States of America.

Hylton is to be sentenced on June 26.
