BSI probes Westmoreland shooting

The Bureau of Special Investigation (BSI) is probing the shooting death of a man by the police in Westmoreland last night.
The Constabulary Communication Network (CCN) reports that the dead man was among a group of men, who shot at a police team at Top Road, Little London in the parish.
The police said members of the team were on patrol in the community around 11 p.m. when the men fired on them.
According to the police, they shot back at the group and the man was later found suffering from gunshot wounds.
The dead man is still to be identified.
