Hospital repairs

Three hospitals and several health centres in Trelawny, Hanover and Westmoreland have now been repaired following damage by Hurricane Ivan in 2004.



The facilities were repaired through a $6 million grant from the Canadian International Development Agency.



The projects include repairs to the roofs of the Bunker’s Hill, Bounty Hall, Albert Town, Grange, Sandy Bay and Savanna-la-Mar Health centres.



There were also repairs to the Falmouth and Sav-la-Mar Hospitals and the Doctors Quarters of the Noel Holmes Hospital.
