Machete man killed

The dead man is still to be identified.



The police said around 4.30 p.m. in the afternoon, they responded to a call that a man was stabbed during an argument with another man on the bus.



The policeman reportedly followed the bus and the alleged attacker was seen coming off with a machete in hand at Hadden District in Moneague.



On the approach of the policeman, the man reportedly used the machete to inflict a wound to his neck.



The machete was taken from the man but during a struggle to restrain him he reportedly managed to disarm one of two policemen of his service pistol.



The other policeman then reportedly shot him.



Investigators said they have not been able to locate the man who was allegedly stabbed on the bus.
