The tax case involving dance hall artiste Moses ‘Beenie Man’ Davis is expected to continue in the Kingston tax court today.

When the case was last before the court on May 29, it had to be put off, as Resident Magistrate Owen Parkins was not available to continue the hearing.

The Tax Department is claiming that Beenie Man owes $47 million in taxes and penalties.

Beenie Man said it was the responsibility of his manager Shocking Vibes to undertake tax payments.

When the trial started on April 29, representatives from the Tax Department testified about how the assessments were conducted.
